Huijuan (Amanda) Zhang has over 17 years’ extensive experience in intellectual property in IP firms and tech companies in China, US and Canada. Amanda passed Chinese patent qualifying examination in 2006, and handled various IP matters including patent application drafting, patent prosecution, patent search, IP strategy development, IP awareness training, and SEP evaluation. When Amanda lived in US, she worked in a Fortune 50 company as an in-house patent agent. During this period, she drafted hundreds of office action responses in field of Oil& Gas, and Clean Energy. Amanda worked in a top ten Canadian IP firm after she settled down in Ottawa, Canada. She prepared patent application documents and assisted supervisor patent attorneys to develop and communicate with Chinese clients.
